A week of vacation has allowed me to step back and have perspective. Sometimes we are too close to a situation to really see more than the piece that hurts the most that day and believe me things can really hurt. The ocean has always represented both God’s power and peace to me and this trip reminded me of that. Looking at the waves reminded me of God’s power and the positive power some people he puts in our life can have. I am going to use this time in my life for positive change, but I must remember that God loves me where I am even before that change takes place. I was reminded on this trip that while the circumstances in my life were a surprise to me – God is never surprised. He has put things in place in my life over a period of 35 years that I wasn’t aware of at the time, but I am now. People and events that we can’t even imagine would be what holds us up today. (He knew) I am working diligently to develop this blog into something that will help many. I appreciate your patience as I learn each day. Have a good Wednesday!
